Avec la canicule que nous venons de vivre et cette prochaine qui arrivera dans quelques jours, j’ai pensé vous partager quelques photos d’une séance de fiançailles que j’ai faite il y a 2 ans, à Dunham dans les Cantons-de-l’Est. Il faisait TRÈS chaud à ce moment, et pas seulement à cause de l’amour qu’il y avait entre Kendra et Sami!
Ils m’avaient mentionné qu’ils aimeraient faire les photos dans un décor rural et j’ai tout de suite pensé à ce coin du Québec, car ma grand-mère y a son chalet. Je connais assez bien l’endroit pour y être allé à de nombreuses reprises depuis mon jeune âge et je savais qu’en nous promenant en voiture, les belles opportunités photographiques allaient être nombreuses. Et en y allant en fin de journée, nous avons été choyés par la belle lumière du fameux «golden hour»!
With the heat wave that we have just experienced and this next one which will arrive in a few days, I thought about sharing with you some photos of an engagement session I shot 2 years ago, in Dunham in the Eastern Townships. It was VERY hot at the time, and not just because of the love between Kendra and Sami!
They had mentioned to me that they would like to take the photos in a rural setting and I immediately thought of this part of Quebec because my grandmother has her cottage there. I have been in that area many times since my young age so I know the place well enough and I knew that by driving here and there, great photo opportunities were going to be numerous. And by going there at the end of the day, we were pampered by the beautiful light of the famous golden hour!
